Nowadays, with the development of science and technology, bamboo is applied strongly into the fields of handicraft arts and textile garment.

In field of fashion and garment textile, we focus in sourcing out the production zones who specialize in processing and producing fibers and fabric from bamboo, with the traditional ways or machinery ways under the Oe-ko Tech standards.

BAMBOO FABRIC MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Bamboo fabric is made from the mature bamboo plants, at least four years old to have enough height and appropriate hardness. After harvesting, the core of bamboo stalks and leaves are made into the fabric material. Depending on how you make, bamboo fiber fabric will be environmentally friendly or not. There are two basic ways to create from bamboo fiber.

We always use physical methods (proceeding natural bamboo fiber production)

Body bamboo -> Fine Bamboo -> Absorb little piece of bamboo -> Do stamping, decaying piece of bamboo -> biological enzymatic degumming - > Chai bamboo fibers rough -> natural bamboo fibers.

Natural bamboo fiber is made from bamboo stalks after through a number of stages, such as steamed, stamping, decaying piece of bamboo, biological degumming enzyme to break down the structure of bamboo into fiber. This fiber is spun into yarn and combed.

Natural bamboo fiber fabric looks like yarn, linen, antibacterial, deodorant strong, often used to weave the fabric of woven items.

Physical methods for the bamboo fabric is quite durable, do not use chemicals, environmental friendly, but the downside is labor intensive and cost makes it difficult economic benefit.

Last time environmental organizations around the world have protested the situation using chemical methods to produce bamboo fiber, has damaged the environment and can be harmful to human health. Therefore, we think that the physical method is the best way to keep the quality brand for Vietnam bamboo fabric.
